Noticeboard

Please cancel your appointment!

Every week a number of patients fail to attend booked appointments. Please let us know as soon as possible if you cannot keep your appointment. It means we can give it to someone else! Thank you.

Whooping Cough Vaccination

This is advised for all pregnant women from or as soon after the 16th week of pregnancy as possible. Please make an appointment with the Practice Nurse.

Travel Vaccinations

global air travel

If you require any vaccinations relating to foreign travel please make an appointment with the Doctor to discuss your travel arrangements.  The Doctor will ask you which countries you are visiting in order to determine which vaccinations you require .

There is further information about countries and vaccinations required on the links below:

It is important to make this initial appointment as early as possible  - at least 6 weeks before you travel - as a second appointment will be required with the Practice Nurse to actually receive the vaccinations.  These vaccines have to be ordered as they are not a stock item.  Your second appointment needs to be at least 2 weeks before you travel to allow the vaccines to work.

Some travel vaccines are ordered on a private prescription.  This is because certain travel vaccinations are not included in the services provided by the NHS and therefore are a chargeable service.
